Dark Side Of The Spoon was founded in 2018. Originally CAFE AT THE END OF THE UNIVERSE had big plans to do desserts. However, the market setting meant this wasn’t possible initially. When the opportunity arose we jumped at the chance to set up a second business and start making awesome pop culture-inspired desserts to accompany our awesome burgers.

Our vision was simple. We wanted to make our own desserts with the best ingredients from scratch. Home-baked cakes, pies, cheesecakes, waffles, sundaes, ice cream. We wanted to do it all with our own geeky twist. In July 2020 we moved into the brand new Warrington market. With better facilities, we now offer a range of desserts including whole bespoke celebration cakes.
